First introduction to Desran via his reinterpretation of The Weeknd’s “I Know” and an original single titled “Just The Same”.

Singing from the age of six Desran has taking the time to continue to master and reinvent his sound for the music fans around the world. Desran possesses styles ranging from Caribbean flow, which is influenced from his Grenadine roots, to sounds of a hard city like New York and also the call of Toronto. He also takes influence from his travel and experiences to tell stories for all types of people and every type of situation. Desran has described music to be a “blessing” and is full of passion to receive it and share it. Not only is Desran a vocal power house, taking every opportunity to perform and share his music, he is also a song writer and producer. In addition to being a lyricist, he creates his own melodies and takes an active role in the production of his sound.

Desran’s new Promo CD “Spotlight” was recently released on Dec. 9th and features three hot singles “Spotlight, Not Trynna, and 1Way Call.” Presently Desran is shooting scenes for his online video single “Back To The Basics” and his first commercially released single “Find Our Way”, which will be released this summer 2013 and as well both are featured on is self-titled EP “Desran.” Not only that, but his Promo CD also features bonus track from Hip Hop artist JiXX “See You Later featuring Desran”, which is also featured on JiXXs’ mixtape ”#LOTNS (Leader of The New School)” (Hosted by DJ Law). Desran has been putting in work to get his music across Canada and world wide. Participating in “T-Dot’s Got Talent,” winning R&B Artist of the year for 2008 in the Roc the Mic Competition, and not only that but Desran has also opened up for veteran Toronto artists such as Michie Mee and Choclair.
