The last we heard from a Toronto duo, Smash Brovaz had dropped their Booth-hosted album Think It’s A Game?. Fast forward three months, and we’re greeted by Flex and Sha Prince, together known as The Antiheroes. The twosome, formed in 2011, have released their brand new album, Modern Day Riot, which features Booth-approved selections “6 Degrees” and “Cloud 9.”
Joining The Antiheroes on their free LP are D-Sisive, Emerson Brooks, STS, THURZ and more, while boardwork is turned in by Jay Emess, Junia-T, MMac and Rich Kidd.

“Pretty girls like it when you ask them to be in your video, even last minute. It’s a fact.”
We were back on the road again, this time on our way home from rocking a stage out in Ottawa, where we debuted our newest joint “Mr. Polite” with the man himself, Fashawn – another small mini-tour to promote the new single. And the response was live as fxck. On a couple hours sleep we hit a drive-thru Tim Horton’s in pursuit of our home town – with Fash in shorts in the dead of winter and on a tight schedule to meet soundcheck, we were back to playing ambassador for one of Cali’s finest. Got in to town at 4:30. Soundcheck for 8. That’s about 3 1/2 hours to shoot a video together. Wrangled the crew, schemed and plotted on the ride in… and with the help of our whole team, this was doable.
Pretty girls like it when you ask them to be in your video, even last minute. It’s a fact. We asked some. It worked out well.
Bronze & JR loosely knew what they wanted to do with it and had at least 60% of it in the can by sundown, but the label was asking for this video like yesterday – so in an attempt to meet our deadline, they were inspired by French & Italian cinema, and an outdoor pool. It was “all in our heads”.
Shout out Abra, Alla, Katja, Hannah, Mica, Jackie and Steph. Peace to Fash, F-Plus, Osman, Will & Caitlin, Krystina & Family, Benjamin, Tim, Liz & Erik, Mike Macinnis & Tantrum.
