Haven’t heard from Talksick in a minute but he was always one of the nicest from the Empire crew. Nice to hear / see what is hopefully the start of a new push.

The SARS Network’s “TALKSICK” was born in Toronto, Ontario. Empire member, TalkSick, deemed ‘The Secret Weapon’ is a secret, no more! A name he acquired from being the silent lyrical killer for Empire, a group well known in the Toronto underground hip hop scene. TalkSick was one of the core members of Empire when it was put together in the year 2000. 

In this video, TalkSick describes how he feels about Hip Hop music through the phrase “Deja Vu”, feeling that he has ‘been there and done that’ with rap music many times and now wants the respect he rightfully deserves. With scenes of TalkSick feeling like situations he’s going through have happened over & over, he now recognizes that it’s time to set the record straight and accomplish his goal.

“Deja Vu” is the first single off of TalkSick’s long awaited album, “The Weapon”, produced by The Quarter Inch Kings due for release this fall. “Deja Vu” is produced by The Quarter Inch Kings, mixed by PhameOne & video directed by Big Sproxx of Proletarian Music.
