Toronto, ON – Captain Hooks is a natural born star. Raised in Toronto but an obviously international talent, he knew from a young age he was meant to perform. With an array of features and bragging rights under his belt, such as a Hot 97 single debut in 2003 called “You Don‘t Want That“, he feels that this is his time to really take over. One look at his new video and you’ll see why . . .
FINALLY!!! Wristpect is set to drop volume 4 of his groundbreaking mixtape series Bridging The Gap. In this edition he links up with Clipse for a Toronto to Virginia theme. Past editions have included Little Brother (T.O. to N.C.), Naledge (T.O. to Chi) and Grafh (T.O. to N.Y.). Check out the catalogue here.
Shouts to be on the artwork and check out Wristpect live this weekend at Guys & Dolls on Friday and The Big Ticket on Saturday! Oh, and here’s a leak from the new tape courtesy of JD Era! Via NR!
The Freqs make a visit to 1da’s basement (where all the magic happens). Was that “pause” worthy? Maybe if you subscribe to such foolishness. Anyways, Keezy explains:
We also talk about possible collaborations with Eminem and Dr. Dre, Busta Rhymes, Young Jeezy, and the possibility of his own compilation album. Finally, I ask 1da what project, out of the many that he’s currently working on, he’s most excited about.
Also, I normally try to get the producer to play some beats/exclusives that aren’t out yet as well, however 1da likes to have his stuff come out when it’s completely finished and ready so it can shock the world, which I can definitely respect.
